Zusammenfassung

Im folgenden Kapitel werden die Erfahrungen der intensiven psychodynamischen Kurzzeittherapie nach Davanloo bei einem Patienten mit posttraumatischer Belastungsstörung beschrieben. Es wird gezeigt, wie sich die posttraumatische Belastungsstörung nach einem Akuttrauma und auf dem Boden vorbestehender kindlicher Traumatisierungen ausbildet. Durch die Abwehr der Gefühle aus der Kindheit werden im Verlauf der kindlichen und jugendlichen Entwicklung Strukturen geschaffen, die zu teilweisen oder vollständigen Blockaden in der affektiven Verarbeitung des aktuellen Traumas führen können.
