Zusammenfassung
Die meisten Patienten, die eine psychotherapeutische Behandlung wünschen, weisen eine depressive Symptomatik auf, häufig begleitet von funktionellen Störungen und von Angststörungen. Nach ICD 10 werden diese Patienten unter F32 geführt. Unabhängig von der Ausprägung der Symptomatik liegt bei ihnen ein unterschiedliches Integrations- und Funktionsniveau ihrer Persönlichkeitsstruktur vor. Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird der Therapiebeginn eines Patienten mit ausgeprägter, überwiegend depressiver und funktioneller Symptomatik beschrieben. Er weist eine gut integrierte Struktur auf. Im Rahmen der Diagnostik der IS-TDP zeigt sich bei diesem Patienten entsprechend dem guten Integrations- und Funktionsniveau eine hohe Angsttoleranz. Außerdem weist er in Bezug auf seine Depressivität keine unmittelbare Verdrängung auf. Deshalb konnte ein vertikaler direkter Zugang zu seinem Unbewussten gewählt werden. Zur Diagnostik der Angst und ihrer Abfuhrbahnen verweist die Autorin auf Kap. 2 und 8.
