Zusammenfassung
Textilbasierte Verbundwerkstoffe wie Gewebe oder Geflechte zeichnen sich durch ihre komplexe Faserbündelarchitektur aus und erfordern für die Materialcharakterisierung einen hohen experimentellen Aufwand. Die Fertigungsrandbedingungen spielen dabei eine maßgebende Rolle und beeinflussen direkt die Faserarchitektur, welche eine Rückwirkung auf die Materialkennwerte hat. Zum Beispiel nehmen die Kennwerte außerhalb der Ebene bei erhöhter Faserwelligkeit auf Kosten von reduzierten intralaminaren Kennwerten zu. Ein Verständnis dieser komplexen Zusammenhänge kann insofern hauptsächlich durch numerische Untersuchungen gewonnen werden. In DigitPro wird ein numerischer Ansatz zur virtuellen Ermittlung der Materialeigenschaften auf mesoskopischer Ebene entwickelt, auf welchem die Textilarchitektur detailliert abgebildet und mit Finite-Elemente-Methoden simuliert wird. Anhand von Beispielen werden die Vorteile solcher Simulationsmethodiken in den nächsten Abschnitten erläutert.
