Abstract
Anconeus compartment syndrome is a poorly recognized condition that may occur in elite athletes in elbow sports such as gymnastics. The condition may be a response to subclinical posterolateral instability of the elbow, but when major career goals approach, anconeus compartment release allows participation to achieve career goals.
