Zusammenfassung

Nachdem das Vorkapitel psychosomatische Problemfelder und psychische Komorbiditäten am Beispiel der KHK behandelt hat, werden in diesem Kapitel weitere wichtige Krankheitsbilder wie funktionelle Herzbeschwerden, arterielle Hypertonie, Herzrhythmusstörungen, Herzinsuffizienz sowie angeborene und erworbene Herzfehler hinsichtlich der jeweils relevanten psychosomatischen Gesichtspunkte dargestellt. In dem Kontext werden auch die zentralen kardiologisch/kardiochirurgischen Interventionen wie Herzkatheter, Koronarinterventionen, Bypass-Operation, Schrittmacher und Defibrillatoren sowie Herz-Unterstützungssysteme bzw. -transplantation beleuchtet. Neben psychosozialen Faktoren in Entstehung und Verlauf der jeweiligen Krankheit umfasst jedes Unterkapitel auch eine Darstellung der wichtigsten psychokardiologischen Behandlungsansätze.
