Globale Gesundheitsversorgung: Ethische Aspekte der Ärztemigration

Zusammenfassung

Auslandstätigkeiten werden seit Längerem von Ärzt_innen als ein wichtiger Karrierebaustein betrachtet. Angesichts eines zunehmenden Brain Drain in Entwicklungsländern und europäischen Ländern mit schlechteren Arbeitsbedingungen wird derzeit intensiv diskutiert, wie eine nachhaltige globale Gesundheitsversorgung gewährleistet werden kann, ohne das Menschenrecht auf Bewegungsfreiheit unberechtigterweise einzuschränken. In diesem Beitrag werden aktuelle und klassische Studien zur globalen Ärztemigration sowie Ansätze zur ethischen Rekrutierung von Gesundheitsfachkräften vorgestellt. Ziel ist es, Vorschläge für die Problematisierung dieses ethischen Dilemmas in der Hochschullehre im Gesundheitsmanagement zu unterbreiten sowie Lücken über „Human Resources for Health“ aufzuzeigen.
