Zusammenfassung
Aggressives Verhalten im psychiatrischen Kontext geht in der Regel mit einem Erregungszustand einher, der durch gesteigerte motorische und vegetative Erregung, intensive Emotionen von Wut und Ärger und entsprechende verbale und psychomotorische Äußerungen gekennzeichnet ist (Mavrogiorgou und Juckel 2015). Aggressives Verhalten ohne derartige psychopathologische Merkmale ist dagegen zumeist instrumenteller Art und typischerweise im Kontext kriminellen Handelns anzutreffen. Mögliche Ursachen mit aggressivem Verhalten einhergehender psychomotorischer Erregungszustände können nahezu alle Arten psychischer Störungen sein, aber auch primär körperliche Erkrankungen. Die ◘ Tab. 6.1 gibt einen Überblick über mögliche Ursachen. Die differenzialdiagnostische Aufmerksamkeit der Ärztin bzw. des Arztes gilt dabei jenen Störungen, die zwar in diesem Zusammenhang selten sind, aber vital bedrohlich sein können und rasche spezifische medizinische Interventionen erfordern.
