Zusammenfassung
Potentialgetriebene Flüsse sind eine Erweiterung der klassischen Flüsse. Klassische Flüsse haben die Eigenschaft, dass sie sich an Knoten des Netzes beliebig aufteilen können auf die adjazenten Kanten. Dies ist bei potentialgetriebenen Flüssen nicht möglich, da sie auf jeder Kante gewisse physikalische Gesetze erfüllen müssen, die sie an sogenannte Potentiale auf den Knoten koppeln. In diesem Kapitel betrachten wir sowohl potentialfreie als auch potentialgetriebene Flüsse und leiten den Zusammenhang von ökonomischen Größen (wie Preisen auf Knoten mit Angebot und Nachfrage) und den physikalischen Gesetzen her. Zuletzt analysieren wir noch den Fall von Netzen ohne Transportkosten, für den wir die spezifische Struktur von sogenannten Preiszonen herleiten.
