Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel leiten wir ein vereinfachtes Modell des deutschen Strommarktes her und vergleichen es mit einem vereinfachten Modell von Strommärkten, wie sie in Teilen der USA organisiert sind. Dabei formulieren wir die auftretenden Probleme zunächst als Komplementaritätssysteme, um dann ihre Äquivalenz zu bestimmten Optimierungsproblemen zu zeigen. Der deutsche Strommarkt zeichnet sich dabei dadurch aus, dass auf der Handelsebene die physikalischen Restriktionen des Transportnetzes außer Acht gelassen werden. Erst in einem zweiten Schritt, dem sogenannten Redispatch, werden diese dann betrachtet und das Marktergebnis gegebenenfalls modifiziert. Dies vergleichen wir mit einem sogenannten Nodalpreissystem, welches direkt während des Handels die physikalischen Netzgegebenheiten berücksichtigt.
