Zusammenfassung
Als tiefe Becken-/Beinvenenthrombose (Syn.: Phlebothrombose, Thrombophlebitis profunda) und der Thrombose der Schulter-Arm-Venen wird die akute und chronische, partielle oder vollständige Verlegung im Bereich der tiefen Leitvenen oder Muskelvenen bezeichnet. Bei der oberflächlichen Thrombophlebitis handelt es sich um eine entzündliche Erkrankung der Gefäßwand epifaszialer Venen. Die oberflächliche Thrombophlebitis kann die normalweiten oberflächlichen Venenstämme der V. saphena magna und/oder parva (Thrombophlebitis vulgaris superficialis) oder pathologisch veränderte, varikös erweiterte Venen (Varikophlebitis) betreffen. Am häufigsten ist die Varikophlebitis. In diesem Kapitel werden auf die Symptome, die Diagnose und Therapie des Thrombosesyndroms eingegangen.
