Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung des Menschen in kultureller und interkultureller Hinsicht. Die Entwicklung des Menschen ist stark kulturgebunden und -beeinflusst. Die biologische und kognitive Entwicklung unterliegt eher universellen Tendenzen. Dagegen ist die soziale Entwicklung stark abhängig von den kulturellen Werten, Normen und Regeln. Grundlagenwissen zu kulturellen Unterschieden in der Entwicklung bildet u. a. eine Basis für das Verstehen einiger Denk- und Verhaltensmodelle in den Bereichen von Personal und Marketing.
