Zusammenfassung
Leadership und die damit verbundenen Herausforderungen sind heute die beliebtesten Themen in Gesellschaft und moderner Organisation. Die sog. „Leadership-Epidemie“ hat alle Kontinente erfasst und ist in alle Bereiche des menschlichen Lebens eingedrungen: Studium, Sport, Wissenschaft, Kunst und auch Familienbeziehungen. Firmen streben nach führenden Marktpositionen, politische Parteien verbinden ihre Hoffnungen mit dem Erscheinen neuer charismatischer Leader, Führer demokratischer Staaten sowie grausame Diktatoren nehmen den Titel „Leader“, mit dem sie von Journalisten belohnt werden, wohlwollend an. Manche Staaten und Völker sind auch bereit, sich zum Leader für die ganze Welt auszurufen.
