Zusammenfassung
Das wesentliche Ziel dieses Kapitels ist die Darstellung und Vermittlung genereller Behandlungsaspekte bei der Behandlung von Kindern mit einer Schmerzstörung sowie einer zusätzlichen psychischen Erkrankung. Die hier vorgestellten Therapieansätze können sowohl in die ambulante als auch stationäre Schmerztherapie integriert werden. Insbesondere wird auf die Besonderheiten der Schmerztherapie bei co-morbider depressiver Symptomatik, Angst-, Trauma- oder Anpassungsstörung sowie dem Vorliegen einer Lernschwäche oder Hochbegabung eingegangen Abschließend widmet sich das Kapitel schmerzkranken Kindern, welche zusätzlich unter einer schwerwiegenden organischen Erkrankung leiden oder in psychosozial sehr belasteten Familiensystemen aufwachsen.
