Zusammenfassung
Der urteilsfähige Patient, die urteilsfähige Patientin entscheidet selber darüber, welche Therapie für ihn, für sie angemessen ist. Dies ist der Ausdruck der Autonomiefähigkeit, also die praktische Umsetzung des ethischen Prinzips Respekt vor der Autonomie. Die informierte Zustimmung (Informed Consent) zu einer Behandlung ist eine rechtlich verankerte Norm. Wird eine Therapie ohne die Zustimmung durchgeführt, so liegt eine Körperverletzung vor (ZGB Art 28). Ethische und rechtliche Aspekte sind hier miteinander verwoben.
