Zusammenfassung
Das primäre Ziel in der Bandscheibenchirurgie ist die Behandlung der Nervenwurzelirritation oder -kompression aufgrund von verlagertem Bandscheibengewebe. Im Fall einer Spinalkanalstenose ist eine knöcherne Dekompression indiziert. Beide Methoden der Behandlung sind in mikrochirurgischer Technik unter Einsatz eines Operationsmikroskops möglich. Die mikrochirurgische Vorgehensweise hat sich im klinischen Alltag fest etabliert.
