Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel gibt einen Überblick über sportpsychologische Verfahren, die sich auf die Kognition, Emotion, Motivation und Volitation beziehen. Zu diesen sportpsychologischen Verfahren können auch achtsamkeitsbasierte Verfahren gezählt werden. Hauptsächlich werden bislang zwei spezifisch auf den Sport zugeschnittene publizierte Programme, MAC und MSPE, gelehrt. Das MAC-Programm orientiert sich an der Akzeptanz- und Committmenttherapie. Das MSPE-Programm hat seine Wurzeln der MBSR-Tradition von Jon Kabat-Zinn und der achtsamkeitsbasierten kognitiven Therapie. Wissenschaftliche Studien geben einen Hinweis darauf, dass mittels achtsamkeitsbasierter Interventionen Parameter der Aufmerksamkeit, des Flows und der emotionalen Regulation verbessert werden können. In diesem Kapitel wird auch ein kurzer Überblick über das Programm „mindful emotions“ gegeben, welches im Anwendungsteil des Buches näher erläutert wird.
