Im Alter von 45 Jahren erlitt der französische Dichter Charles Baudelaire (1821–1867) einen Schlaganfall. Er lebte noch anderthalb Jahre mit chronischer Aphasie. Fraglich ist, ob er selbst sich dessen bewusst war.
