Zusammenfassung
Die physiologischen Veränderungen der Schilddrüsenfunktion in der Schwangerschaft werden dargestellt. Schilddrüsenfunktionsstörungen sind bei jungen Frauen im reproduktiven Alter häufig. Einflüsse von Schilddrüsenfunktionsstörungen auf die Reproduktivität sind teils gut belegt, teils wahrscheinlich. Die speziellen Indikationen für eine Schilddrüsenhormonbehandlung bei Kinderwunsch und Schwangerschaft, einschließlich der trimenonspezifischen Referenzbereiche, werden dargestellt und konkrete Empfehlungen zur praktischen Durchführung gegeben. Neben der Hypothyreose werden die Differenzialdiagnose der Hyperthyreose und die therapeutischen Implikationen in dieser speziellen Lebensphase erläutert.
