Zusammenfassung
Scharf begrenzte, singuläre oder wenige Ulzera mit einem Durchmesser von <1 cm, die innerhalb eines Zeitraums von 10–14 Tagen spontan abheilen kennzeichnen die leichte Verlaufsform der Aphthen. Die Einzelläsionen sind v. a. in den ersten Tagen ihres Auftretens sehr schmerzhaft. Die Therapie erfolgt mit antiseptischen (Chlorhexidin) und antibiotischen (Minocyclin) Mundspülungen sowie antientzündlichen (Glukokortikoid-haltige Haftpasten, Tacrolimus) Wirkstoffen. Das Tragen einer Zahnschiene übernacht kann die Rezidivrate reduzieren.
