Zusammenfassung
Beim Sonnenbrand kommt es in den der Sonne ausgesetzten Arealen zu einem flächigen Erythem das sich kontinuierlich 3–5 h nach der UV-Exposition entwickelt, sein Maximum nach 12–24 h erreicht und mehr als 48 h persistieren kann, bevor es langsam abblasst. Therapeutisch erfolgt die konsequente Kühlung mittels feuchten Umschlägen in Kombination mit Auftragen von 0/W-Zubereitungen sowie bei stärkeren Beschwerden auch die orale Einnahme von nichtsteroidalen Antiphlogistika.
