Zusammenfassung
Die periorale Dermatitis zeigt Hautveränderungen in Form von entzündlichen Papeln und Papulopusteln, die auf unveränderter Haut oder innerhalb schuppender Erytheme auftreten. Neben der Mundregion können diese allein oder in Kombination perinasal oder periokulär auftreten („periorifizielle Dermatitis“). Topische Steroide oder zu stark okkludierende Topika sind die wichtigsten Auslöser. Die topische Applikation von Metronidazol ist die Therapie der ersten Wahl.
