Zusammenfassung

Früher nur aus dem pädiatrischen Bereich bekannt, kommt der Buried Penis heutzutage zunehmend im Erwachsenenalter vor. Ursachen dafür sind zum einen die steigende morbide Adipositas und zum anderen massive Gewichtsabnahmen mit folgender Laxizität des Gewebes. Während überschüssige Hautweichteillappen bei postbariatrischen Patienten das äußere Genitale nur verdecken, bewirkt die präpubische Fettschürze eine Invagination des Penis bei hoch adipösen Männern. In diesem Kapitel werden Klassifikationen sowohl des kindlichen als auch des adulten Buried Penis vorgestellt sowie die Stadien-gerechte operative Behandlung des Buried Penis bei Erwachsenen.
