Zusammenfassung

„Bigger is better“ schwirrt in den Köpfen vieler Männer herum, vor allem wenn es sich um ihr bestes Stück handelt. Und hier tut die Pornoindustrie noch ein Übriges, um den Druck auf Männer zu erhöhen, ihre Erscheinung und ihre Leistung optimieren zu müssen. Verliert ein Mann das Vertrauen in seinen Penis, kann dies nicht nur zum Verlust seines bis dahin gesunden Sexualverhaltens, sondern auch zur Dysmorphophobie und Depression führen.

Der Wunsch nach einer Vergrößerung des Penis durch Chirurgie oder Injektionen nimmt heute nicht den Stellenwert wie die – inzwischen von der Gesellschaft akzeptierte – Brustvergrößerung bei Frauen ein. Wenn man jedoch in verschiedene Internet-Foren schaut, bemerkt man, dass dieser Wunsch dann zur Realität wird, wenn sichere und effektive Methoden der Penisvergrößerung angeboten werden. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt eine der Möglichkeiten zur Penisvergrößerung mithilfe eines Silikonimplantates. Die operative Technik, Komplikationen und postoperatives Outcome werden in diesem Kapitel beschrieben.
