Zusammenfassung
Durch die Techniken der haut- und nipplesparenden Mastektomien werden immer mehr primäre Rekonstruktionen durchgeführt. Darüber hinaus nehmen die prophylaktischen Mastektomien zu. Hierdurch spielen die rekonstruktiven Verfahren eine immer größere Rolle. Neben den Eigengewebsrekonstruktionen hat sich die Rekonstruktion durch Expander und Implantate in den letzten Jahren immer weiter etabliert. Neuere Implantate und Matrizes erlauben immer ausgefeiltere Rekonstruktionen. Allerdings ist vieles noch in den Anfängen und nicht alles, was als erfolgreiche Technik publiziert wird, hat auch dauerhaften Erfolg.
