Zusammenfassung
Lipofilling ist das Einspritzen von abgesaugtem Fett der gleichen Patientin, das speziell aufbereitet wird. Eigenfetttransplantation oder autologes Fat Grafting (AFG) sind Synonyme. Die Technik ist in den letzten Jahren des ausgehenden 19. Jahrhunderts erstmals beschrieben worden. Da das Verfahren damals noch nicht ausgereift war, ließen Heilungsraten und Ergebnisse zu wünschen übrig. Erst mit Coleman wurde das Verfahren in den ausgehenden 80er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts wieder populär. Coleman setzte es zunächst nur als Fillersubstanz im Gesicht ein, die anderen Indikationen kamen langsam dazu. Heute ist das Lipofilling kaum aus dem rekonstruktiven Arbeiten wegzudenken, wobei es noch viele Unklarheiten gibt. Es existiert derzeit keine prospektiv randomisierte Studie zu den besten Entnahmeverfahren, den Heilungseinflüssen und den möglichen Brustkrebsinduktionen.
