Zusammenfassung
Die spezifische Arzneitherapie der Gicht umfasst Xanthinoxidasehemmer, Colchicin und Benzbromaron. Standardmittel für die chronische Gicht ist Allopurinol, auf das 84% aller Verordnungen entfallen. Einen massiven Zuwachs, verbunden mit erheblichen Mehrausgaben, erreichte erneut der zweite Xanthinoxidasehemmer Febuxostat, der keine klinisch relevanten Vorteile gegenüber dem altbewährten Allopurinol aufweist. Beim akuten Gichtanfall wird Colchicin eingesetzt. Es ist 2017 wieder etwas häufiger verordnet worden als im Vorjahr. Die Verordnungen des Urikosurikums Benzbromaron haben 2017 weiter abgenommen. Auch bei der Kombination von Allopurinol und Benzbromaron ist ein Verordnungsrückgang eingetreten.
