Zusammenfassung

Die Analvenenthrombose ist eine häufige, akut schmerzhafte und damit in der täglichen Praxis relevante Erkrankung. Die Diagnose ist bei typisch schmerzhaftem lividen Knoten am Analrand durch Inspektion zu stellen und gegebenenfalls palpatorisch gegenüber einem thrombosierten Hämorrhoidalbefund abzugrenzen. Die Behandlung des spontan heilungsfähigen, nicht komplikationsträchtigen Leidens erfolgt symptomorientiert, bevorzugt konservativ durch Antiphlogistika für einige Tage. Nur ausnahmsweise ist ein operatives Vorgehen indiziert, welches dann bei großem Befund besser als Exzision an Stelle der häufig vorgenommenen Inzision erfolgen sollte.
