Zusammenfassung
Verständnis von Anatomie und Funktionsweise des Ellenbogengelenks haben in den letzten Jahren deutlich zugenommen. Die Gelenkspiegelung des Ellenbogens hat sich zu einem häufig eingesetzten operativen Eingriff entwickelt. Inzwischen gibt es kaum Pathologien, die nicht auch arthroskopisch adressiert werden können. Die präoperative Bildgebung ist dabei sowohl für die Planung als auch die Besprechung der Operation und des Therapieverlaufs unerlässlich. Im Rahmen der radiologischen Untersuchung lassen sich sowohl intraartikuläre Verletzungen und Erkrankungen (z. B. traumatische Knorpelschäden, Frakturen, Osteochondrosis dissecans) als auch extraartikuläre Pathologien wie z. B. Läsionen an Streck- und Beugesehnen oder heterotope Ossifikationen erkennen. Im folgenden Kapitel werden intraoperative Befunde der jeweiligen präoperativen Diagnostik gegenübergestellt. In einigen Fällen kann das Verletzungsausmaß trotz adäquater Bildgebung nicht immer korrekt oder ausreichend erkannt werden.
