Zusammenfassung
Bildgebende Verfahren sind heute ein integrierter Bestandteil zur Abklärung rheumatologischer Fragestellungen, wobei sich die Auswahl nach der diagnostischen Sicherheit, nach der Belastung des Patienten sowie nach gesundheitsökonomischen und organisatorischen Kriterien richtet. Im Vordergrund steht die konventionelle Radiologie, gefolgt von der hochauflösenden Sonographie und Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT). Durch die klinische Untersuchung und Labordiagnostik in Verbindung mit bildgebenden Verfahren lässt sich bei fast allen Patienten eine exakte Diagnose stellen.
