Zusammenfassung

Die diagnostischen Methoden lassen sich einteilen in eine Grunddiagnostik, zu der die Anamnese sowie die Spaltlampenuntersuchung zählen, und die als Basis gilt, einer Standarddiagnostik sowie spezial- und labordiagnostische, ergänzende Methoden. Mittels der Standarddiagnostik wie BUT, Schirmer-Test und Augenoberflächenanfärbemethoden lässt sich die Diagnostik weiter verfeinern. Apparative Methoden wie Meibografie oder Interferometrie liefern genaue spezialdiagnostische Messergebnisse zur Graduierung der erhobenen Befunde. Die Testreihenfolge zur Diagnostik sollte überdacht sein, da u. U. fehlerhafte Ergebnisse durch vorherige diagnostikbedingte Stimulation entstehen können.
