Abstract
Gynecomastia, or breast development in males, develops in the presence of elevated estrogen or decreased androgen levels. Gynecomastia typically occurs at three time points: infancy, puberty, and in men over the age of 50 [1]. Pubertal gynecomastia is first seen in early to mid puberty, with a peak incidence at 14 years of age; it resolves in most boys within 3 years [2, 3].
