Zusammenfassung
Die Erreger von Pneumonien unter Immunsuppression weisen vielfach ein charakteristisches pathologisch-anatomisches Befundmuster auf. Die Kenntnis dieser Muster ist für eine zyto- bzw. histologische Diagnose trotz neuer molekulargenetischer Nachweismethoden unverändert von hoher Bedeutung, da eine Erregerdiagnose vor allem von Pilz- und Viruspneumonien nicht selten eines histologischen Nachweises bedarf. Darüber hinaus erlaubt die pathologisch-anatomische Untersuchung von Gewebsmaterialien Einblicke in pathogenetische Mechanismen bzw. Strukturen der inflammatorischen Immunantwort.
