Zusammenfassung
Während das Interesse von Arbeitgebern an einer Verringerung von Absentismus leicht nachvollziehbar ist, gilt das für Präsentismus nur unter bestimmten Bedingungen. Auf Gesundheit und Arbeitsplatzgestaltung bezogene Maßnahmen, die auf eine Reduzierung von Absentismus abzielen, können durch eine Verbesserung des Gesundheitszustands allerdings auch günstig auf Präsentismus wirken. Im Folgenden werden entsprechende Maßnahmen des betrieblichen Gesundheitsmanagements dargestellt und Studienergebnisse referiert.
