Zusammenfassung
Wer etwas über Präsentismus erfahren will, sei es, um den Prozess zu beschreiben, zu erklären, vorherzusagen oder gar zu beeinflussen, muss das Phänomen erfassen können. Im Folgenden werden zunächst die verschiedenen prinzipiell infrage kommenden Messverfahren vorgestellt. Sie sind mit unterschiedlichen Vor- und Nachteilen verbunden. Im zweiten Teil des Kapitels wird der Fokus auf die Messung mittels Selbsteinschätzung gerichtet, weil dies die in der Praxis am häufigsten verwendete Methode ist. Anschließend werden Fragebogen vorgestellt, die zur Erhebung von Präsentismus im Einsatz sind. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf deren direkt auf Präsentismus bezogenen Teilen. Ihre Vorstellung wird durch eine Einschätzung abgerundet.
