Abstract
The discovery of high-temperature superconductors among hole-doped CuO\(_2\) structures was one of those rare events in the scientific sphere which launches a whole new world of activity for hundreds of theorists and experimentalists alike. It is now more than 20 years since the New York City APS meeting dubbed the “Woodstock of Physics"witnessed the announcement of the original high-\(T_c\) results [112], and the level of activity on this topic remains extraordinarily high.
