Zusammenfassung

Gefäßtumoren können sich aus den Endothelzellen sowohl der Lymphgefäße als auch der Blutgefäße entwickeln. Hämangiosarkome, die sich aus den Endothelzellen der Blutgefäße entwickeln, sind für nahezu alle Haustierarten beschrieben. Sie kommen am häufigsten beim Hund und selten bei Katze und Pferd vor. Lymphangiome und Lymphangiosarkome sind seltene Tumoren bei allen Spezies und werden in diesem Kapitel nicht besprochen.
