Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel erläutert die Blutversorgung, Physiologie und Neoangiogenese des inneren weiblichen Genitales. Zuerst wird die Blutversorgung von Uterus und Adnexen (Tuben und Ovarien) dargestellt. Danach folgt eine kurze Erläuterung des physiologischen Zyklus des inneren weiblichen Genitales. Abschließend wird die Neoangiogenese mit ihren verschiedenen Formen, die Pathophysiologie und die Auswirkungen der Angiogenese auf Gefäßmorphologie und Funktionen behandelt. Das Kapitel schließt mit einer kurzen Darstellung der aktuellen therapeutischen Ansatzpunkte.
