Zusammenfassung
Das wesentliche Merkmal eines Organisationsnetzwerks ist der hybride Koordinationsmechanismus, der sich aus Elementen des Marktes und der Hierarchie zusammensetzt. Seine konkrete Ausprägung hängt vom Kooperationsgegenstand und den daraus resultierenden Opportunismusgefahren ab. Nur wenn diese wirksam und wahrnehmbar kontrolliert werden, kann die zentrale Voraussetzung für den Erfolg des Netzwerks, also interorganisationales Vertrauen vor und während der Kooperation, entstehen. Wegen besonders großer Opportunismusspielräume ist die Herstellung von Vertrauen in Kompetenzentwicklungsnetzwerken besonders anspruchsvoll. Es werden vertrauensschaffende Gestaltungsempfehlungen für wichtige praxisrelevante Managementfelder gegeben. Abschließend wird ein Selbstevaluierungsleitfaden als Voraussetzung der Entwicklung vertrauensbildender Maßnahmen präsentiert.
