Zusammenfassung

Schlaf-Wach-Störungen werden als zusammengehörige Einheit verstanden: Störungen des Schlafes führen in der Regel zu Funktionseinbußen am Tage und zu leistungsbezogenen Ängsten. Von der Vielzahl der spezifischen Schlafstörungen ist die Insomnie die häufigste und aus psychotherapeutischer Sicht von vorrangiger Bedeutung. Die Insomnie ist – so sie denn auch diagnostiziert worden ist – psychotherapeutisch gut und nachhaltig behandelbar.
