Zusammenfassung

Zu den nichtinvasiven Atemhilfen gehören die Oxygenierungshilfen sowie die sog. nichtinvasive Beatmung (»non-invasive ventilation«, NIV). Die nichtinvasive Beatmung (NIV) ist eine Atemunterstützung – ohne endotracheale Intubation oder Tracheotomie – über Masken oder Helme.
