Wenngleich symptomatische fokale Knorpelschäden des glenohumeralen Gelenks relativ selten sind, hat dennoch die moderne Knorpeltherapie auch am Schultergelenk ihren festen Stellenwert. In diesem Kapitel werden detailliert die Techniken der Mikrofrakturierung, Chondrozytentransplantation (ACT und MACT) und der osteochondralen autologen Transplantation/Mosaikplastik beschrieben.
