Zusammenfassung
Bereits 1990 veröffentlichten Levy et al. (1990) ihre ersten Ergebnisse der arthroskopisch assistierten Rotatorenmanschettennaht. Sie führten nach der arthroskopischen Diagnosesicherung eine arthroskopische Dekompression durch und legten Fäden in die Sehne vor, bevor sie über eine Erweiterung des lateralen Arthroskopieportals die Rotatorenmanschette dann offen rekonstruierten. Seither wurden verschiedene ähnliche Techniken beschrieben. Alle Mini-open-Techniken kombinieren die Vorteile der Arthroskopie mit ihren umfassenden intraartikulären diagnostischen und therapeutischen Möglichkeiten mit der bekannten Sicherheit der offenen Sehnenrekonstruktion, ohne dazu den Musculus (M.) deltoideus ablösen zu müssen. In Metaanalysen konnte bisher kein klinischer Vorteil für arthroskopische oder mini-offene Rekonstruktionstechniken nachgewiesen werden (Ji et al. 2015). Geringere Operationszeiten und geringere Operationskosten sind jedoch eindeutige Vorteile des Mini-open-Repairs gegenüber den arthroskopischen Techniken (Churchill und Ghorai 2010).
