Zusammenfassung
Die Klavikula stellt die einzige mechanische knöcherne Verstrebung des Schultergürtels dar. Als biomechanische Konsequenz einer Fraktur kommt es infolge der Schwerkraft zu einem Abrutschen und Einwärtsdrehen der Schulter. Pathogenetisch kommt es zur Fraktur der Klavikula durch ein direktes Trauma mit Sturz auf die Schulter: Kompressionskraft, Sturzgeschwindigkeit, Kraftvektor und das Alter des Patienten scheinen dabei für die Lokalisation der Fraktur eine Rolle zu spielen. Biomechanisch unterscheiden wir Biegungs-, Scher- und Kompressionskräfte, wobei die Druckbelastung aufgrund der Rotations- und Torsionseigenschaften und -freiheiten die entscheidende Rolle in der Frakturgenese spielen sollte.
