Zusammenfassung

In den vergangen fünf Jahren gab es eine deutliche Zunahme von Studien und Daten zur Behandlung von frühem Prostatakarzinom. Dies gilt im besonderem für die hochpräzise Radiotherapie bei dieser Entität. Die technologischen Transformationen kamen hierbei mit neuen Konzepten der Behandlung des Prostatakarzinoms zusammen, so dass heute die stereotaktische Radiochirurgie eine reale und machbare Alternative darstellt.
