Zusammenfassung

Die hochpräzise Radiotherapie und hier insbesondere die stereotaktische Radiochirurgie konnte an Bedeutung gewinnen. Betrachtet man die bisherigen Arbeiten in der pulmologischen Onkologie, fällt auf, dass die stereotaktische Radiochirurgie eine gute Alternative zur konventionellen Chirurgie bei nicht-kleinzelligem Lungenkarzinom im frühen Stadium darstellt. Die Bezeichnung "gute Alternative" bezieht sich auf Therapiewirksamkeit und -sicherheit. Bisher war die Chirurgie in Ermangelung geeigneter Alternativen für mehrere Dekaden der einzige "Standard". Die stereotaktische Radiochirurgie wird als Zweitangebot bei operablen Patienten (w/m) mit einem nicht-kleinzelligen Lungenkarzinom in frühem Stadium zunehmend eingesetzt. Bei pulmonalen Oligometastasen solider Tumoren scheint es sich genauso zu verhalten, obwohl die Zahl valider Studien kumulativ geringer ist. Oligometastasen deuten auf ein klinisches Szenario, bei dem sich vier oder weniger Läsionen mit einem Durchmesser von jeweils ≤3 cm in der Lunge befinden.
