Abstract
Experiments from Chapter 3 exhibited central material characteristics of TPU under tension that are summarized as
-
(1)
large (elastic) strains until failure,
-
(2)
nonlinear elastic behaviour,
-
(3)
time- and temperature dependence (viscoelasticity),
-
(4)
dependence on triaxiality, and
-
(5)
adiabatic heating during deformation.
