Zusammenfassung

Auch aufgrund des demografischen Wandels und der damit steigenden Anzahl von multimorbiden älteren Patienten mit einer Polymedikation steigt das Risiko von Medikamenteninteraktionen und damit der unerwünschten Nebenwirkungen. Die Kenntnis der Eigenmedikation der Patienten ist für den Anästhesisten unabdingbar, um mögliche Medikamenteninteraktionen zwischen der Dauertherapie und den perioperativ verabreichten Substanzen überblicken und die Narkoseführung entsprechend anpassen zu können.
