Zusammenfassung

Unabhängig von der Tumorentität stellt die Diagnose der Peritonealkarzinose im frühen Stadium den wesentlichen Prognosefaktor dar. Hierin liegt die besondere Bedeutung der Nachsorge, die adaptiert an das individuelle Risiko und mit der höchstmöglichen Sensitivität durchgeführt werden sollte. Es werden für die primären und sekundären Peritonealkarzinosen die für die Nachsorge relevanten Daten dargestellt und die daraus ableitbaren Empfehlungen formuliert.
