Zusammenfassung
Dem Anästhesieteam kommt eine wichtige Bedeutung bei der Vermeidung postoperativer Wundinfektionen durch Aufrechterhaltung der perioperativen Homöostase und zeitgerechte Applikation der perioperativen Antibiotikaprophylaxe zu. Auch die Grundlagen zur Vermeidung katheterassoziierter Infektionen oder beatmungsassoziierter Pneumonien werden nicht selten im Zuge der anästhesiologischen Versorgung gelegt. Im Bereich der geburtshilflichen Anästhesie kommt die Vielzahl regionalanästhesiologischer Verfahren hinzu, sowohl bei Sectiones caesareae im Operationssaal als auch im Rahmen der geburtshilflichen Analgesie im Kreißsaal. Außerdem haben die Vermeidung der Transmission krankenhaushygienisch relevanter Keime, einschließlich multiresistenter Erreger, sowie die besonderen Anforderungen bei der Neugeborenenversorgung große Bedeutung. Dieses Kapitel fasst die erforderlichen Hygienemaßnahmen und ihre praktische Umsetzung zusammen.
