Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel erläutert die Bedeutung von Würde und Akzeptanz in der Psychotherapie. Dafür werden zunächst die historischen Hintergründe der beiden Konzepte erläutert und das Begriffsverständnis verschiedener Disziplinen berichtet. Anschließend werden aktuelle Entwicklungen bezüglich Würde und Akzeptanz in der Psychotherapie (und angrenzenden Disziplinen) vorgestellt. Zum Abschluss wird vor diesem Hintergrund das Verhältnis der beiden Begriffe diskutiert.
